This page lists those Asterisk configuration parameters that need pay particular attention to.

Bind interface

By default asterisk (chan_sip indeed) binds to any IP address, i.e. 0.0.0.0. This can be changed by the below UCI option.

asterisk.sip_options.bindintf='wan'

Note that bindintf must be a logical network interface. 'eth0.1' is a wrong configuration value since it is a "physical" network interface in Linux.
